Almost One-Year-Old

The calendar year is closing, but Fresh will not be one-year-old for another month. On February 8, 2013, our little shop quietly opened and we three friends stuck our toes into the proverbial water of entrepreneurship again.  In March, we invited our community friends in for a Grand Opening and with that, Fresh was off!

Friends say, "How's it going?" We reply, "Exceeding all expectations!" That's how it's going! The blessings keep coming.

  • As 2013 ends, we are launching our website and offering our wonder paints to those who shop from home.
  • As 2014 opens, Ray and I will be setting up at First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas for the first time. Fresh Finds at Canton is probably the most exciting new chapter for the shop.
  • The First Monday Trade Days venue joins Junktique in Jasper, J & A  Antiques in Hemphill, The Consignor's Mall in Livingston and Kelly B's in Henderson as other places to shop Fresh.

Thanks for all our friends, supporters and customers.

Thank you to our families who have joined us on this ride...

  • Michelle's teenagers and husband, Chris, have pitched in when needed and seen less of their mom this past year.
  • Nancy's young adults have cheered us on, often driving in from Dallas to support our special events. Jimmy has fished by himself a little more than he would like.
  • My grandchildren have designed logos, business cards and helped set up and build the website. Our very busy adult children have encouraged, supported, and advised. Ray has, as always, made the impossible happen because I thought it was possible.

Thank you to Bertis & Jane Best for renting us the little house on College Street...

...to Ce Ce Caldwell's Paints and Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint for exceptional products for the home...

...and to all our fellow "dealer" friends for the "Go, Girls!" given so freely.

Fresh began with prayer and opened and prospered with answered prayer.  We are most thankful for those blessings because we all rely on divine guidance to sustain us in everything we do.  Happy, healthy & prosperous New Year to all.
